Local
Radio Broadcast
During mid-November 2002 BBC Southern Counties Radio interviewed
me and Canadian Wendy Johnson, who was visiting Sussex to
be part of the launch of Letters From Lavender Cottage.
Southern Counties Radio's Carolyn Howie pre-recorded a special
reading of the first letter in the book and this recording
was played to open the interview. Carolyn Howie runs the radio
station's Social Action Helpline.
The public response to this thirteen minute programme has
been heart-warming and overwhelming and I would like to thank
BBC SCR, the programme presenter, Neil Pringle and his team
for their support.
